Knitscene

Knitscene is an american knitting magazine
for the new younger knitting generation.
It's published quarterly and the style is both
classic, timeless, stylish and trendy.

Knit the classic moto jacket.
The coolest cardigan you can wear!

A basic V-neck raglan with ribbed sleeves
for a closer fitting.

I like simple shapes and texture patterns.
Why not sew on an optional strap for a more edgy look.

This simple triangular shawl is really my style.
Maybe I make it in a stronger color.

Simple and stylish!

Variation in Waves

Fall is here with chilly air.
To wrap yourself in a warm mohair shawl is a luxury.
Half is done on the second version of 'Waves Wrap'.
It's for a friend and I'm free to choose the colors.

It's interesting to see the overall impression when
adding one color after another.

Crochet more!

My friend is very lucky!
She loves my crocheted shawl
so now I'm going to make one for her!

I had a few more skeins of mohair yarn in different
colors in my stash.
The creation of the 'Waves Wrap' is fun since I choose
the color one after another.
It's going to be interesting to see how the
striping will look like!

Refreshing Shower

I have found a new 'magic' shower gel!
It's made of a combination of organic extra virgin coconut, olive, jojoba and hemp oils and perfumed with pure essential oils. A unique soap with a velvety-lather that leaves the skin clean and silky-smooth.
The peppermint essential oil tingles the body.
Peppermint is also a mild stimulant that
increases vitality and clarity of mind.
For an invigorating start to the day!

Nails with Autumn Glow

A simple way to revive for fall is to get a new nail-polish.
The new shiny lacquer from Armani
has a gel-like texture which makes it easy to apply.
I like the simple but elegant design of the bottle
and the small size.
Of all the lovely shades I chose a glowing red for fall!

It will be another skirt

This yarn was intended to be a wrap skirt. But during the work and despite the changes I made, I was disappointed with the result.
So I unraveled it. And it feels good!
This lovely highland wool from Peru will be something else.

But I want a warm knitted skirt so
now I'm making this one.

The yarn is in baby alpaca and merino wool.
Wonderfully soft!

The shade is 893, Argentina.
