The yarn package with pattern bought in Tokyo is now a nice little scarf.

So easy to make and so chic!

To follow crochet patterns written with symbols is easier than

patterns in text only. I simply found them simple and clear.

 Chain stitches, single crochet stitches and double crochet stitches and you get this check pattern.

More crocheted necklaces

My friends love their crocheted 'Avril' necklaces.

Since I had some leftover yarn I made a few more.

This one is made as described in black and white.

These solid color necklaces have only 1 chain stitch between the puff stitches.

My absolute favorite design in this issue is the sweater Malin.

The simple rustic pattern and the design give the sweater an awesome look. What a cool design! This sweater adds edge to a closet filled with casual, sporty and classical sweaters.

An Elegant Shawlette

When I showed some of my yarns to a friend, she fell in love with this sock yarn in merino wool from Malabrigo. This is her favorite color and now I'm knitting a nice little shawl for her. 

I found the elegant shawlette Blyth, designed by Kitman Figueroa, in The Knitter, Issue 41. You can also buy the pattern on Ravelry. This design is so interesting. It's scalloped edges and unusual patterning make it really special.  

The shawlette is worked from the bottom up.

I love the scalloped edges, it gives the shawl a soft feel. I will definitely knit one for myself as well.

A Wonderful Shawl

It's almost as if I can't wait to meet nice autumn days so I can wear this wonderful shawl. But of course it fits as good cool summer evenings.
